These Regulations, made under section 21 of the Survey Act and continued under the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria Act, provide for examination of surveyors that desire to be registered under the Act. A candidate who completes the examination under these Regulations to the satisfaction of the Surveyors Licensing Board shall be granted a licence in the Form 6 in the Third Schedule to these Regulations entitling him to practise surveying; and the Board shall as soon as may be thereafter, issue the licence accordingly

The present Tariff is enacted under the Canada Land Survey Act. In particular, the text lists the tariff of fees to be charged by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources for copies of maps, plans, field notes, or any other type of record or document arising from or respecting surveys under the Canada Lands Surveys Act. The text consists of 2 sections and 1 Schedule.

This Law makes provision with respect to registration of title in land and effects of registration and provides for a wide variety of matters regarding specific title in land such as leases, charges, transfers, co-ownership and partition, trusts and transmission on death.The Law establishes a Land Register and requires the Governor to appoint a Land Registrar, the functions and powers of which are defined by this Law. The Land Register shall consist of a register of parcels adjudicated under the Land Adjudication Law and a register of each lease required by the Law to be registered.

The present Regulation is enacted under the Surveys Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the fees payable for maps, plans and other documents, materials and services. The text consists 2 sections and 1 Schedule.

Article 4 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Authorized regional state institution in the sphere of cultural heritage shall carry out state registration thereof, historical and cultural expertise, elaboration of areas of cultural heritage and mapping of the boundaries thereof”.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be conservation, management, promotion and state protection of the objects of cultural heritage. Objects of cultural heritage shall be covered by conservation pledge agreement signed by manager of the objects of cultural heritage. Boundaries of the reserve containing objects of cultural heritage shall be mapped in-situ.

This Act is composed of ten chapters, setting out the duties of the State and regulating land surveys and cartographic activities in order to create a framework for such activities and to provide a professional and efficient service. Chapter 5 deals with the carrying out of land surveys. Property rights are regulated in Chapter 7. Administrative provisions are set forth in Chapter 8. Governance of land survey and mapping is mainly the task of the Minister of Rural Development and in small part of the Minister of Defence.

The Land Parcel Identification System is the national identification system of exclusive state property, to be used in administrative procedures of area payments.

This Regional Law regulates the issues of state protection and management of the objects of cultural heritage recorded in the state register of the objects of cultural heritage, including land areas and historical and cultural environment. Objects of cultural heritage shall be subject to state identification, monitoring and registration. Objects of cultural heritage shall be classified as of regional and local significance.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of elaboration, composition and the modalities of realization of regional land-use planning with the consideration of sustainable development of territory, distribution of protected areas and mapping of the boundaries of agricultural land. Decision of elaboration of regional land-use planning scheme shall be made by the regional administration.

The present Ordinance enforces the Geo-Data Access Act. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the providing of spatial data, spatial data and metadata services on behalf of spatial data holding agencies. Article 2 established that that such data may be: 1) reproduced, printed, presented, changed, edited and shared with third parties; 2) linked to own data as to become a new and independent data; 3) integrated in non public electronic networks. The text consists of 5 articles.

Article 2 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Protected areas of regional and local significance shall be taken into consideration in the process of elaboration of territorial planning complex schemes, land survey and regional land-use planning”.
