This Act amends various provisions of the Environmental Management and Conservation and changes its name to Environmental Protection and Conservation Act.

I am sharing this extremely important report from Margaret Sekaggya, the Special Rapporteur of the situation of human rights defenders (2011). In 2007 the former Special Rapporteur, Hina Jilani, affirmed that “the second most vulnerable group when it comes to danger of being killed because of their activities in the defence of human rights, are defenders working on land rights and natural resources” (Hina Jilani, 2007, Report submitted to the Human Rights Council, A/HRC/4/37).

This Act establishes the Council for the Living Environment and Infrastructure, which shall advise the Government and the two houses of parliament regarding sustainable development of infrastructure, spatial planning, the and the environment, and in particular on a wide variety of matters including, climate policy, water, agriculture, nature conservation and food quality. The Council shall also advise on hazardous substances and disaster prevention and management.

This Decree contains rules for the discharge of water related to agricultural activities in surface waters and provides directions for the use of pesticides. The Decree is based on, among other things, articles 6.2, 6.6 en 6.7 van de Water Act. Chapter 6 of the Water Act applies also to agricultural activities involving the use of pesticides and biocides. This Decree places restrictions on the discharge of wastewater and provides general principles and rules for such discharge.

This Order amends, in relation to England only, the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 in Parts 6 and 7 of Schedule 2. The amendments clarify that permitted development rights apply to buildings on agricultural or forestry land to house microgeneration equipment, and in particular to house hydro turbines, to house biomass boilers and anaerobic digestion systems, and to store associated waste and fuel, as long as the fuel or waste is produced on the agriculture or forestry land or by the boiler or system.

This Order amends the Landfill Tax (Qualifying Material) Order 2011 in relation with disposals of qualifying material and the definition of bottom ash and fly ash from coal or petroleum coke combustion as such material.

These Regulations amend the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 in regulation 31(3) concerning the maximum credit a landfill site operator may claim against annual landfill tax liability, in respect of qualifying contributions made.

These Regulations provide a new regime for neighbourhood planning as foreseen by the Localism Act 2011.

The present Ordinance by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Food and Rural Space lays down provisions relating to fees charged by the Environment, Survey and Nature Protection Office Baden Württemberg. The text consists of 2 articles and 1 Annex concerning the calculation of fees, kind of service and corresponding level of amount.

This Law establishes legal, organizational and economic grounds of licensing system, the list of activities subject to licensing, the types of authorizations and permits, ensuring protection of legal rights of citizens and environment. The Act consists of 6 Sections divided into 32 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) principles of regulation of licensing system; (3) assessment procedures of regulatory documentation; (4) the modalities of issuance of authorization or permit; (5) authorities and the list of authorizations and permits; and (6) conclusive provisions.

El presente Decreto expide el Texto Unificado de la Legislación Secundaria del Ministerio del Ambiente, en lo referente al Libro VI: Calidad ambiental, Título IV: Reglamento para la Prevención y Control de la Contaminación Ambiental, que tiene como objetivo determinar los límites permisibles para las descargas en cuerpos de aguas o sistemas de alcantarillado, emisiones al aire incluyendo ruido, vibraciones y otras formas de energía, vertidos, aplicación o disposición de líquidos, sólidos o combinación, en el suelo; y establecer los criterios de calidad de un recurso y criterios u objetivos

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding public and private land and community land (as defined respectively by Articles 62, 63, 64 and 260 of the Constitution), and in particular provides of the sustainable administration and management of land and land-based resources. It also provides for (compulsory) acquisition of land.
