The Decree-Law is set in bold-type and the Decree is set in normal characters. In order to safeguard real estate rights and statutory interests, the register of real estate contains data on all immovable property in the country, on rights in connection thereto and other relevant information. Certain rights come into being through registration.

The document consists of 9 Parts. The grounds for reserving land for protected areas shall be programs of development and distribution of protected areas validated in accordance with the established modalities. Plots of land destined for protected areas shall be surveyed on site by a special commission with the participation of landowners concerned. The results of on-site survey shall be legalized in the form of act with the enclosure of survey map.

The present Act provides for the management, regulation and administration of the ownership and use of land for socio-economic development and environmental well-being of the country through efficient and effective land administration, security of land tenure, equal opportunity to land, facilitation of operation of land market, effective use of land resources and conservation of the ecosystem.

This Act, consisting of 54 sections divided into six Parts and completed by one Schedule, aims at finding a compromise between the cultural traditions of the Aboriginal and the need for development of the Northern Territory. The Act establishes the procedure for the registration and protection of sacred sites and prescribes how to protect sacred sites in the planning for the development and use of land. For the purposes of the Act, Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority is established and regulated.

The purpose of this Act is to promote the use, improvement and conservation of national land, from a comprehensive viewpoint of policies for the economy, society, culture, etc., with consideration for natural conditions of national land, by formulating National Spatial Strategies and taking other measures, in combination with measures by the National Land Use Planning Act (Act No. 92 of 1974), and thereby contributing to the realization of the economy and society in which present and future citizens can live rich lives with peace of mind.

This Ministerial Decree validates the Regulation on State cartographic and geodetic fund and the Regulation on state geodetic survey. State cartographic and geodetic fund shall contain geodetic and cartographic materials and data stored at specialized organization authorized to form, keep and store State cartographic and geodetic fund. Inclusion to and exclusion from State cartographic and geodetic fund of materials, data and information shall be carried out in accordance with the established modalities in accordance with expert opinion expressed by the Ministry o Justice.

In view of the fact that promoting the advancement of utilization of geospatial information is essential in establishing an economy and society in which the people can live enriching lives with peace of mind both at present and in the future, the purpose of this Act is to promote policies for the advancement of utilizing geospatial information in a comprehensive and well-planned manner by establishing basic principles and clarifying the responsibilities of the state and local governments for policies on the advancement of utilizing geospatial information as well as defining the basic elemen

This Regulation prescribes the: correct manner of collecting, processing and storing of data obtained by topographic surveying; method for the administration and maintenance of cartographic database; manner of making the official state map of appropriate scale; and further defining all natural and legal persons engaged in the state survey and real estate cadastre mapping.The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Governmental Decree establishes the modalities of forest management in public forest, on protected areas and in forests not pertaining to public forest fund. Forest management shall be performed by forest management organization subordinated to state Forest Service. In the process of forest management practice shall be performed mandatory forest inventory. Transfer of low value land areas in other categories. Forest management shall be completed with mapping of forest land.

This Decree underlines that state land cadastre shall be carried out on a single system. This system is composed of geo-botanical and other search-and-research studies on the basis of geodesic, cartographic and topographic data, land use registration, land registration, land evaluation, thematic mapping, inspection and methods for indicators affect adversely the soil fertility and soil quality. These methods and programs shall be approved by the State Committee on Property Issues.

This Regulation enacts sections 151 (2) (b) and 151.1 of the Forest Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 157. Section 2 lays down provisions relating to the establishment and listing of forest regions, and section 3 contains provisions relating to the establishment and listing of forest districts. This Decree states that “land registration” aims at ensuring efficient use of land, increasing soil fertility, clarifying land resources, establishing soil balance, setting up strict rules for land use and mapping according to the results of land registration, by determining geometric dimensions, borders, configuration and changes in lands of all land owners, users and lessees.
