Survey of Bermuda (Parish Boundaries) Act 1900.

This Act concerns the preparation and custody a Survey Book on Parish boundaries. The Survey Book shall be prepared and certified by the Commissioners appointed under the Survey of Bermuda (Parish Boundaries) Act 1899 and taken in custody by Parish Councils. The Act prescribes that the Survey Book shall be receivable in evidence in all courts in Bermuda in proceedings regarding Parish boundaries.

This Act makes provision for the public survey of land in Bermuda. It shall be lawful for the Minister, in collaboration with the Directorate of Overseas Survey of the United Kingdom or otherwise, to make a survey of Bermuda. For this purpose, any officer of the Department of Works and Engineering or any other person duly authorized by the Minister may enter upon land, carry out survey works on that land and clear any brush, scrub or trees on any land. The Act prohibits the removal of survey marks.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that State Agency for Registration of Immovable Property shall be state management body carrying out registration of rights to immovable property, common policy in the sphere of land relations, and also land survey and cartographic activity. The sphere of competence of the Agency shall include: (a) regulation of land relations, land cadastre, land survey, geodesy and cartography; (b) keeping unified register of immovable property; (c) land monitoring; (d) participation in land reform; and (e) issuance of land registration certificates.

This Act establishes a deeds registry and provides rules for the registration of deeds, land and the rights in immovable properties.The Act defines the functions and powers of the Registrar who shall be appointed by the President under this Act. The Act also prescribes how land, including State land, must be transferred or partitioned and defines requisites for such transfer or partition to be valid.Other provisions of this Act deal with, among other things, subdivision of land in townships, transfer of mortgaged property, execution of bonds, leases, rights to minerals and servitudes.

This Decree establishes that land inspection shall be autonomous institution within the State Land Cartographic Committee. Land inspection shall carry out the following tasks: (a) enforcement of land legislation; (b) detection of unused or irrationally used land; (c) supervision over quality of land monitoring; (d) supervision over soil improvement arrangements; and (e) coordination of land survey.

Order No. 81 of the State Agency for Registration of Immovable Property Rights validating the Regulation on supervision over land tenure and land protection by chief land inspectors.

This Order establishes that officials of land survey service shall be at the same time state land inspectors. In the process of inspection state land inspectors shall control availability of land certificates and shall ensure remedial actions for the removal of the violations of land legislation. The President, with a view of improvement of regulation of land relations and carrying out state control over land management and protection, decrees to set up land survey services within local executive bodies entrusted with the following functions: (a) state control over land management and protection, execution and quality control of land survey and land cadastre work; (b) expropriation and allotment of the plots of land; (c) enforcement of land legislation; (d) submittal to tax inspection of data related to land ownership by natural and legal persons; and (e) exposure of abandoned land.

The authorized state institution responsible for the implementation of the present Agreement shall be the State Committee on Immovable Property of Belarus and the State Committee on Cadastre of Immovable Property of Armenia. The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: (a) exchange of scientific and technical information regarding geodesy and cartography; (b) joint scientific research; (c) exchange of data on distant zoning of the earth; (c) GPS survey; and (d) exchange of geodetic, cartographic and GPS survey materials.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of establishment of water conservation zones and water belts, management of land of water conservation zones and water belts, and also responsibility for keeping thereof. Boundaries of water conservation zones and water belts shall be established with the consideration of physical, geographic, soil, hydrogeological conditions, and purposeful use of waterbodies and also with the consideration of the interests of water users. The aforesaid boundaries shall be mapped.

The aim of this Act is to prevent disputes concerning the possession of lands gained by alluvium or dereliction of a river or the sea.If the Collector, appointed by the Government, is credibly informed that a dispute is likely to arise he/she may by an order in writing attach such land, demarcate it with boundary pillars, appoint a receiver to manage it, invite claims to such land, and after examination send the list of claimants to the district judge for determination of title of the claimants.
