Section 1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Land-use planning of urban territory shall be aimed at ensuring environmental security, sanitary, epidemiological and technical safety of urban areas, improvement of the state of natural environment, historical and cultural heritage, conservation of natural ecosystems, prevention of ecological and technological disasters and protection of public health”.

Le présent arrêté, sur tout le territoire de la République du Bénin, fixe les prescriptions minimales à observer pour la délivrance du permis de construire.

Le certificat de conformité et d’habitabilité est délivré à toute construction ayant reçu au préalable une autorisation de construire. Il consacre le respect à posteriori des règles d’urbanisme, de construction, de sécurité et d’hygiène conformément au permis de construire délivré.
