This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Quang Ninh Province. This plan shall be closely combined with the rational exploitation and protection of natural resources and environment.The plan on the Socio-economic development shall include in particular: the development of agriculture, forestry and fishery; the development of mineral exploitation and processing industries; the rational exploitation of water supply networks; the reduction of water wastage; the building of water drainage systems; the upgrading of the irrigation system; the application of clean technologies and means to treat and prevent pollution; land-use planning.
