The 17th Annual World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty took place from 14 to 18 March 2016 in Washington DC. Over 1,400 government officials, practitioners, academics and civil society representatives gathered at World Bank headquarters, as well as some representatives of the private sector. Economic growth is not enough to save those threatened daily with starvation.
