A myriad of Non-Governmental Institutions that form the land Sector Non-State Actors (LSNSA) have collaboratively developed an advocacy strategy to guide various engagements initiatives in the advocacy of the implementation of the Community Land Act,2016.

This Strategy highlights the roles of key actors: The Government, the Communities and Civil Society Organizations.

With the promulgation of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 (CoK 2010), land was classified into public, private and community lands, occasioning the need for clear guidelines on acquisition of public land acquisition within the community land while appreciating the provision of the Community Land Act, 2016.

El mapa y los datos que se presentan en esta hoja informativa son el resultado de la actualización de la línea base de Sistema de Información sobre Comunidades Nativas de la Amazonía Peruana (SICNA) del Instituto del Bien Común (IBC) en la región amazónica de Ucayali (Perú), realizada durante el primer semestre de 2016, con el apoyo de la Cooperación Alemana, implementada por la GIZ, a través de su proyecto ProTierras Comunales.

Esta hoja informativa presenta resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos sobre la deforestación en las comunidades nativas, así como mapas detallados sobre la deforestación entre 2001 y 2015 y sus posibles causas en las más de 1300 CCNN tituladas. También realiza un análisis a partir de la región, el pueblo indígena, la densidad poblacional, los años de ocupación del lugar y la distancia de carreteras. Se presentan detalles sobre las 10 CCNN más y menos deforestadas, sobre todo en San Martín y Ucayali, las regiones de trabajo del proyecto ProTierras Comunales (PTC).
