El presente Decreto dispone que todas las instituciones del Sector Ambiente, Energía, Mares y Ordenamiento Territorial y del Sector Desarrollo Agropecuario y Rural, tal y como se definen en el Decreto Ejecutivo N° 38536-MP-PLAN del Reglamento Orgánico del Poder Ejecutivo, integrarán acciones en sus programas, proyectos y en sus planes de desarrollo institucional, con el fin de lograr una "Articulación Intersectorial para la incorporación de los Principios de Neutralidad de la Degradación de Tierras en la Lucha contra la Desertificación, la Degradación de la Tierra y la Sequía".

Corruption is a continuing feature of the Philippines’ natural resource sectors. Given keen interest in the country’s REDD+ potential, it is useful to consider corruption risks related to REDD+ from a political economy perspective. This U4 Issue draws on fieldwork from two REDD+ pilot sites to assess current governance and anti-corruption safeguards related to benefit-sharing, land tenure rights for indigenous peoples, and private sector involvement. Many anti-corruption actions are in place in the pilot sites, but they are weakly embedded in social relations at the local level.

Donors can play an important role in combatting corruption in land administration and building a well-functioning land administration by both supporting domestic government efforts as well as engaging in international and multi-country initiatives. The publication is an informational pamphlet on the VGGT guide on improving the governance of pastoralist lands. The pamphlet is meant to be a tool for civil society to inform pastoralist communities regarding the VGGT and its applicability in securing their rights to resources. At the same time the pamphlet also speaks to local administrators regarding the principles enshrined in the VGGT. This audience is chosen to raise awareness regarding the VGGT as a country endorsed mechanism for securing land resources and livelihoods for pastoralist communities.

Right to Food Handbooks 3. This handbook presents the process to be followed for the revision of sectoral legislation, since it may affect various aspects of the right to food. The purpose of this revision is to ensure that the legal framework of the country is favourable for the progressive realization of the right to food. The content of this handbook is based on the FAO's “Guide on Legislating for the Right to Food”.

Putting the voluntary guidelines on tenure into practice: a learning guide for civil society organizations is a learning guide which has been designed specifically to give civil society and grassroots organizations a deeper understanding of the VGGT. It provides civil society organizations with a methodology and a set of materials to undertake training on the VGGT with civil society actors from the grassroots to the national level. Trainees will learn how to apply the VGGT to actual tenure gover nance.
