Certain lands being at the time state forests are transferred to national park estate and Aboriginal ownership. The lands described in Schedule 3 that are within State forests are set apart as, or as part of, flora reserves under the Forestry Act 1916. Forest agreements may be made under Part 2 with respect to particular regions of the State. A forest agreement may only be made in respect of a region that has been the subject of a regional forest assessment carried out by or on behalf of the Resource and Conservation Assessment Council.

The Act makes renewed provision for – (a) generally the protection of wild fauna and flora; (b) giving effect to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and any other biodiversity related Convention to which Mauritius is or may become a party; and (c) the identification, control and management of reserved lands and private reserves, and for related matters.

This Act amends environment protection legislation in relation to a variety of matters including; civil proceedings in relation with environmental damage; fines and fixed payment notices for air pollution offences; modification of waste generation levy; development, including development for which an environmental impact assessment or an appropriate assessment is required, exempted from development authorization requirements; investigations in unauthorized development by a planning authority; observations at an appeal made by a Member State or another state which is a party to the Transboun

Various minor amendments are made subsequent to the deletion of the word “licence” in section 2, citizens eligible under section 6, consents for changes in interests in land (sect. 35), decisions of the Minister to withhold consent (sect. 36), granting of leases subject to a development scheme (sect. 49), compensation for any loss incurred by lessee or allottee deprived of land subsequent to declaration of agricultural areas (sect. 50) and some other matters.

With a view to contribute to the social and economic development of the Socialist Republic of Cameroon, Germany enables Cameroon to receive financial contributions from the German Development Bank for, inter alia, the following projects: 1) Development of the rural sector; 2) Sustainable management of resources; 3) Climate protection REDD (Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation).

This Decree states that “land registration” aims at ensuring efficient use of land, increasing soil fertility, clarifying land resources, establishing soil balance, setting up strict rules for land use and mapping according to the results of land registration, by determining geometric dimensions, borders, configuration and changes in lands of all land owners, users and lessees.

This Government Regulation provides guidelines on policies and strategies related to national spatial planning.The Government Regulation aims mainly at realizing: harmonization between the environment and biological environment; the unity of the use of land, sea and air; the rational and appropriate utilization of natural resources; etc.The Regulation covers policies and strategies for the development of the space structure and space pattern.

This Act makes provision with respect to development and spatial planning in Uganda. It establishes the Town and Country Planning Board. The Act shall apply to declared planning areas. In respect of every area declared to be a planning area, there shall be a planning committee or planning committees. The Board shall in respect of any area declared as a planning area, in consultation with the committee or committees, prepare an outline scheme in respect of the area. This scheme must be approved by the Minister.

The purpose of this Act is to promote planned and systematic urban development, create a comfortable urban environment and promote public welfare by prescribing matters necessary for urban development. For the purpose of the present Act «urban development project» means a project implemented to build a complex or town having functions, such as residence, commerce, industries, distribution, information and communications, ecology, culture, health and welfare in an urban development zone.

This Act, consisting of 54 sections divided into six Parts and completed by one Schedule, aims at finding a compromise between the cultural traditions of the Aboriginal and the need for development of the Northern Territory. The Act establishes the procedure for the registration and protection of sacred sites and prescribes how to protect sacred sites in the planning for the development and use of land. For the purposes of the Act, Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority is established and regulated.

This Order amends the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990 in relation with form and a design and access statement with an application for listed building or conservation area consent.
