La présente ordonnance met en exécution l'article 2 de la loi cantonale sur la mensuration officielle et l'information géographique du 16 mars 2006. Notamment, l’ordonnance a pour but de définir l'organisation et les modalités de fonctionnement du système cantonal d'information du territoire. En outre, elle est applicable à toutes les géo-données d'intérêt cantonal. Le texte comprend 15 articles répartis en 5 sections comme suit: Dispositions générales (1er); Organisation (2); Gestion des géo-données (3); Mise à disposition et échange des géo-données (4); Dispositions finales (5).

This Regional Law regulates land tenure and land protection. It establishes minimum and maximum area of agricultural land that can be allotted to citizens out of the stock of public and municipal land: (a) for peasant farms – from 0.04 ha to 0.50 ha; (b) for gardening - from 0.04 ha to 0.50 ha; (c) for horticulture - from 0.04 ha to 0.50 ha; (d) for stockbreeding - from 0.04 ha to 30 ha; and (e) for construction of suburban cottages - from 0.04 ha to 0.50 ha.

This Act is a compendium of various matters related to conservation and environmental protection and management and preservation of historic sites. It empowers the Minister responsible for managing the environment to designate certain land or marine sites as "protected areas". Areas that may be designated as such include national parks, nature reserves, botanical gardens, marine reserves, historic sites, scenic sites, or areas of special interest.

Article 5 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Multi-child family seeking allotment of a land plot for subsidiary smallholding must indicate in the application the location of the land plot in question within the boundaries of inhabited area (smallholding) or outside inhabited area (field land plot)”.

This Regional Law validates the list of grounds for refusal of validation of land use planning schemes: (a) use of different systems of coordinate than the regional ones used for state cadastre of immovable property; (b) imprecise and inaccurate coordinates related to the location of land plots; (c) used of wrong mapping methods; (d) absence in the state information systems of data and information permitting to verify submitted coordinates; and (e) absence in the state cadastre of data and information on coordinates of land plot.
