This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Cao Bang province.The plan, in particular, shall: raise the forest coverage; solve the issues of environmental sanitation in urban centres, border gates, industrial parks and ore mining areas; assure food hygiene and safety; etc. Socio-economic development shall include: the development of agriculture, forestry and fishery; the development of husbandry; the building of a system of special-use forests and the system of headwater protective forests; the exploiting of existing surface water areas, and building more water reservoirs for irrigation; mineral exploitation and processing; the development of hydropower; the management and use of land.
