We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Finance & Administration Manager to play a pivotal role in guiding the Land Portal towards long-term sustainability and impact. As Senior Finance & Administration Manager, you will oversee all financial and procurement aspects of our organization, drive financial strategy and planning, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

This year’s Equator Prize will recognize innovative initiatives that showcase how action on nature, led by Indigenous Peoples and local communities, can provide effective climate solutions, and demonstrate effective pathways to transform our global systems for people and Planet. Winning initiatives will be honored for their successes in protecting, restoring, and/or sustainably managing nature for nature-positive development outcomes.

The 15th cycle of the Equator Initiative aims to identify innovative approaches and solutions led by Indigenous Peoples and local communities in three categories. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) led Equator Initiative releases a global call for nominations for the Equator Prize 2024. The nominations are open through 26 February 2024.

Job Description The Land Portal Foundation is recruiting a consultant who will be responsible for researching, advising and developing a viable land data dashboard that enables users to visualise and analyse the available data. About the SOLIndex In 2019 the Land Portal developed the methodology for uncovering the State of Land Information (SOLI) on a country level. The SOLI seeks to provide an overview of publicly available data and information on key land issues from government and other stakeholders. This research provides the basis for the State of Land Data Index (SOLIndex), a set of indicators that tracks the completeness and openness of land data at the country level.
