This Act may be cited as the Immovable Property (Tenure, Registration and Valuation) (Amendment) (No. 3) Law of 2016 and shall be read together with the Immovable Property (Tenure, Registration and Valuation) Law. Amendments deal with adminstrative and legal proceedings for land leasing. Article 2 of the basic law is amended by adding the following new terms and definitions of "government settlement". Article 18 of the Basic Law is amended by the following new paragraph: (3) dealing with the provisions of the Cabinet which entitled to allow the alienation of immovable property of the Republic under the provisions of any law for residential purposes.Article 65B of the basic law is amended by replacing the provisions to subsection on state property leasing agreement between the government and displaced persons; by the amendment of paragraph (d) and (i) of subsection (4) that regulates State property leasing agreement between the government, as owner lessor or between the Government as owner or lessor.
