The Compensation Act provides for property acquired or to be acquired by the Government of Nepal in accordance with the Nepal laws. The Government of Nepal may, if it considers necessary to acquire any property for the public interest, acquire that property. The authority specified by the Government of Nepal may determine the figure of the compensation of the property acquired pursuant to Sub-section. A person who is not satisfied with the figure of compensation determined pursuant to Sub-section may make a complaint to the Government of Nepal within Thirty Five days after the date of receipt of the notice of that determination, and the decision made by the Government of Nepal shall be final.
