The present Regulation is made under the Land Title Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the subdivision of land. Section 1 establishes that the approving officer may refuse to approve the subdivision plan, if he considers that it does not provide access to the land in the subdivision, or lands dependent upon the subdivided property, or land dependent upon the subdivided property for its sole access by means of an adequate road allowance for a frontage road, service road or local street.
