This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Federal Supervision Service on Cultural Heritage shall be federal executive body authorized to carry out control and supervision over compliance with the legislation on protection of cultural heritage. Federal Supervision Service on Cultural Heritage shall carry out the following functions: (a) state control and supervision over protection and management of the objects of cultural heritage; (b) import and export of the objects of cultural heritage; (c) licensing of activities for the protection of cultural heritage; (d) issues orders for suspension of earthwork operations and removal of ground, land reclamation and other activities that may damage objects of cultural heritage; and (e) coordinates projected boundaries for the protection of areas of cultural heritage of federal significance.
