This Regulation lays down criteria and procedures governing the assignment of immovable properties as compensation according to Law No. 9235 on restitution and compensation of property. The Fund covers public immovable properties included in the inventory of the Agency of the Public Property Inventory and Transfer that have not been nationalized or confiscated. Iy includes the following categories: (a) public immovable properties located in the areas with tourism development potential; (b) properties owned or used by the Ministry of Defense; (c) available agricultural lands which pertained to agricultural enterprises; (d) forests, pastures and meadows; (e) properties administered by State bodies or local authorities.
