SEKELEKANI

SEKELEKANI é uma instituição moçambicana independente, sem fins lucrativos, de promoção de comunicação para o desenvolvimento, conceito que se refere a sistemas de comunicação em dois sentidos, orientados para enaltecer o diálogo entre os decisores de políticas públicas e as partes interessadas, nomeadamente as comunidades destinatárias do desenvolvimento, permitindo-lhes exprimir os seus pontos de vista, as suas aspirações e preocupações, participando, desse modo, na formulação da agenda do seu desenvolvimento.

Minurvi

MINURVI es la entidad de coordinación y de cooperación intergubernamental de los países de América Latina y del Caribe, en el área de desarrollo sustentable de los asentamientos humanos.

Está compuesto por los Ministros de Estado y las demás autoridades gubernamentales bajo cuya competencia se encuentren, en los respectivos países, los asuntos vinculados al desarrollo sustentable de los asentamientos humanos. Cada Estado Miembro designa la autoridad gubernamental que lo presentará en las reuniones de MINURVI.

Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia

The Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia (IAUS) was founded in 1954 within the Faculty of Architecture. It was established as an independent scientific research organization by the Decision of the Republic Executive Council No.N/303 of May 13, 1961. The Institute’s scientific research and professional work is carried out within three organizational units as follows:


  1. Center for Architecture and Housing;
  2. Center for Spatial Development and Environment, and

Articulo – Journal of Urban Research

Articulo – Journal of Urban Research is a peer-reviewed online journal devoted to the exploration of urban issues through the lens of a wide range of social science approaches. The Journal embraces a multidisciplinary perspective on the transformation of social, environmental and economic issues of cities and city regions. Publishing both theoretical and empirical articles, the Journal is an international forum that brings together academics and practitioners working on urban issues in cities around the world to present ground breaking and relevant research.


South African Cities Network

SACities

The South African Cities Network (SACN) is an established network of South African cities and partners that encourages the exchange of information, experience and best practices on urban development and city management. Since 2002 the SACN’s objectives are to:


  • Promote good governance and management in South African cities
  • Analyse strategic challenges facing South African cities
  • Collect, collate, analyse, assess, disseminate and apply the experience of large city government in a South African context

Prindex

PRINDEX
Prindex is a global initiative born from a partnership between the Global Land Alliance and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI). It was created to fill a critical gap in data regarding property rights, offering a worldwide measure of how secure people feel about their land and housing tenure.

Tata Trusts

Tata Trusts (comprising Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Allied Trusts, and the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and Allied Trusts) are amongst India's oldest, non-sectarian philanthropic organisations. The Trusts own two-third of the stock holding of Tata Sons, the apex company of the Tata group of companies. The wealth that accrues from this asset supports an assortment of causes, institutions and individuals in a wide variety of areas. In this manner, the profits that the Tata companies earn go back many times over to the communities they operate in.

The Knowledge Exchange is a response to an identified need for increased information exchange in the Southern African region. It has been developed as a broad collaboration of partners, with the CSIR acting as the custodian.

Suyo

Suyo is a public benefit corporation that unlocks the transformational impact of secure property rights by making it easier and more affordable for low-income families to formalize their property. Empowered with formal recognition of their property rights, low-income families have access to numerous benefits that help lift them out of poverty, such as credit, home ownership security and the ability to transfer rights.

Journal of Regional and City Planning

Journal of Regional and City Planning or JRCP is a tri-annual open access journal mainly focusing on urban and regional studies and planning in transitional, developing and emerging economies. JRCP covers topics related to the sciences, analytics, development, intervention, and design of communities, cities, and regions including their physical, spatial, technological, economic, social and political environments.

Land Use Policy

Land Use Policy is an international and interdisciplinary journal concerned with the social, economic, political, legal, physical and planning aspects of urban and rural land use. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information from the diverse range of disciplines and interest groups which must be combined to formulate effective land use policies.
