The present Regulations are made under the Real Property Assessment Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down detailed provisions relating to the enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act in the Province. For the purpose of the present Regulation, “assessment list” means a list of all properties in a municipality and such assessment list shall contain all of the information described in clause b) in relation to those properties and the number of the municipality.

The present Regulations are made under the Real Property Tax Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down detailed provisions relating to the enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act in the Province. Section 5 deals with special real property tax levied under clause 12(5) of the Act and establishes that it shall be levied at the same rate as the rate levied pursuant to the Act for the taxation year in which the improvements were made. This Act concerns the management of Crown lands.

This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 in relation to England by, among other things: (a) inserting a new article 4E which makes provision for the form and content of application forms for planning permission; (b) substituting a new article 5 which contains general provisions relating to applications and follow-up procedures; (c) providing for certificates in relation to notice of applications for planning permission to be made in a prescribed form; and (d) providing anew for time periods for the determination of applications.

This Regulation implements the Crown Lands Act 1929 by providing the forms required under the Act and fixing the fees to be paid in compliance with the provisions of the Act.
