The present Act lays down provisions relating to the practice of land surveying for the protection of the public and administration of the profession. Section 6 establishes that the Association of Manitoba Land Surveyors is continued as a body corporate. The purpose of the association is to: a) uphold and protect the public interest in the delivery of land surveying services by ensuring the competence, integrity and independence of its members; and b) act in the public interest in matters affecting the protection, viability and security of the land tenure system in Manitoba.

The Government decrees that the normative value of land is applicable in accordance with the cases established by the Russian Legislation and is established on the yearly basis by the regional Executive Bodies for land of different destination in accordance with different valuation zones, administrative districts, settlements and their classification.

This Decree sets out the rules of procedure of classification of agricultural and forest land. The purpose of the classification is the determination of the quality of land destined to various uses. There are eight quality classes. A land quality map must be prepared showing the results of the classification process. For this purpose a copy of the cadastral map may be used. Annex 1 lists valuation territories with approximately similar production conditions.

This Code regulates the relationship originating in connection with geological survey, the use and the protection of subsoil in the Republic of Belarus. This Code contains legal foundation of the all-round rational use and protection of subsoil, provides for safeguard of the interests of state and citizens of the Republic of Belarus as well as the rights of the users of subsoil. The document consists of XI Sections that contain 60 articles. Section I lays down the general provisions. Section II regards state regulation in the field of use and protection of subsoil.

These guidelines are issued by the General Department for Land Management concerning utilization of bare land, degraded hills, forests, alluvial flats and water bodies. The approval of land use projects will be based on the economic-technical viability of the project with the objectives of good land management and sustainable land use. The project implementing agency shall classify the land depending on the objectives of the project and the land available. Land should be used in accordance with plans made, the land should be protected and the fertility of the soil improved.

Geodetic co-ordinate system of 1995 (SK-95) - for the use i n the process of carrying out geodetic and cartographic assignments beginning from the 1st of July 2002. 2). The Government decrees to establish that Federal Land Cadastre Service is the Federal Executive Body in the field of state management of land resources that carries out special (executive, control, authorization and other) functions as regards keeping up of state land cadastre and state registration of immovable property situated the plots of land, land survey, state cadastre valuation of land, land monitoring and state control over the use and the protection of land. Federal Land Cadastre Service is entrusted with the functions of the abolished State Land Policy Committee.

Land Surveyors (Conduct of Cadastral Surveys) (Amendment) Rules 2001.

These land surveyors Rules concern the conduct of cadestre surveys. The Rules include several amendments to the Land Surveyors Rules 2000. These include that a registered surveyor shall before carrying out work on any cadestre survey check that the proposed cadastre survey is in accordance with all requirements of the Singapore Land Authority.
