This Act makes provision for the conservation and management of the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources in Lesotho.The Act consists of 116 sections divided into 16 Parts: Preliminary (I); General Principles (II); Institutional Arrangements (III); Environmental Planning (IV); Environmental Impact Assessment, Audits and Monitoring (V); Environmental Quality Standards (VI); Pollution Control (VII); Spill and Environmental Emergency (VIII); Environmental Management (IX); Environmental Restoration Notice and Order (X); Inspection and Record (XI); International Environmental

This Regional Law establishes the modalities of organization, establishment of boundaries and management regime of historical and cultural reserve of regional significance. It specifies that integral historical, cultural and natural complex requiring particular protection can be classified as historical and cultural reserve of regional significance. The grounds for such classification shall be expert opinion and its substantiation.

This Order makes supplementary, incidental or consequential changes to the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997, the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006 so as to give full effect to the provisions of the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006.

This Act provides a legal framework that will promote and encourage community empowerment and participation. It creates new rights for community bodies and places new duties on public authorities. The Act amends the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, extending the community right to buy to all of Scotland, urban and rural, and improving procedures. It also introduces a new provision for community bodies to purchase land which is abandoned, neglected or causing harm to the environmental wellbeing of the community, where the owner is not willing to sell that land.

La troisième partie fixe l’organisation de la Commune. La quatrième partie traite de l’organisation de la préfecture. La cinquième partie définit l’organisation de la région.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be re-distribution of some plenary powers in the sphere of land relations in relation to governance of plots of urban public land with undelimited ownership in case of availability of validated land-use planning scheme. Regional executive body competent in the aforesaid sphere shall be Regional Government.

These Regulations amend the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to extend the list of exempted development including renewable technologies for industrial buildings, business premises and agricultural holdings, and to define "biomass".

These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Trees) Regulations 1999 by correcting a mistake introduced in the principal Regulations by the Town and Country Planning (Trees) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008 and concerning fast track procedures for appeals.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities for designating areas of protection of cultural heritage objects, including land-use planning, mapping of boundaries, and requirements for land management within the boundaries of such areas. The purpose of designating protection areas for objects of cultural heritage shall be to conserve the natural landscape and to prevent negative impacts upon the objects of cultural heritage located in their natural environment.
