Ένα δέντρο μπορεί να απορροφήσει έως και 150 κιλά CO 2 ετησίως, να δεσμεύσει τον άνθρακα και συνεπώς να αμβλύνει την κλιματική αλλαγή. Τα δέντρα παρέχουν ενδιαίτημα, τροφή και προστασία για τα φυτά και τα ζώα, αυξάνοντας την αστική βιοποικιλότητα. Φυτεύοντας δέντρα σήμερα είναι ουσιαστικής σημασίας για τις μελλοντικές γενιές!

Compulsory expropriation (Amendment) Law 1962 (No. 15/1962).
This Law, consisting of 24 articles divided into 5 Parts and 1 Annex, establishes the requirements to be satisfied and procedures to be followed in case of compulsory expropriation of private property for public purposes. The Law is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (Part I); Compulsory Expropriation Conditions (Part II); Compensation for Expropriation (Part III); Transfer Use and Disposal of Property (Part IV); Miscellaneous provisions (Part V) and Annex specifying the procedures for expropriation.
Compulsory expropriation (Amendment) Law 2014 (No. 61(I)/2014).
This Law may be cited as the compulsory expropriation (Amendment) Act 2014 and shall be read together with the Compulsory expropriation Laws of 1962-2006 (hereinafter referred to as the "basic law") and may be referred collectively as the compulsory expropriation laws of 1962 to 2014.
Ministerial Joint Decree No. 98012/2001 establishing measures and terms on the disposal of waste oils.
The Decree aims at implementing article 12 (paragraphs 2, 3 and 4) of Law No. 1650/86 and also aims at harmonizing the Greek legislative framework with the provisions of Council Directive 87/101/EEC on the disposal of waste oils so as to improve the efficiency of waste oil collection and to take more stringent measures for the purpose of environmental protection (article 1). The Decree lays down the necessary measures to ensure the safe collection and disposal of waste oils.
Agricultural land Consolidation and Redistribution Regulations, 1987 (P.I. 165/87).
These Regulations repeal the Regulations for the Agricultural land Consolidation and Redistribution Regulations 1970-75 and replace them with new provisions. The exact description and delimitation of habitat types are an important tool and a basic condition for the protection and effective management of the natural environment and biodiversity in Greece. It is also a bounding obligation towards the competent EU bodies. Previously registered habitats (period 1999−2001) concerned in total 237 land areas totaling roughly 2 millions hectares of land. This work was the first and only mapping of habitat types in protected areas, resulting in the production of thematic maps (habitat type maps).
Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (Amendment) Law, 2008 (Law No. 12(Ι)/2008).
This Law may be cited as the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (Amendment) Law of 2008 and shall be read as one with the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Law of 2003-2006 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”). The principal Law and the present Law shall be read as one and will be referred to as the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Laws of 2003-2008.
