Marco De Gaetano holds a PhD in Economics from the University Parthenope of Naples. He is currently heading FAO's office in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh has been working in the humanitarian and development sector for over 15 years across three continents: Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and South East/South Asia. He has extensive expertise in food and livelihood security, rural development, Natural Resource Management (NRM) and conflict mitigation as a technical specialist and implementer.
