This Act concerns legal proceedings and proof regarding the ascertainment or evidence of title in land or interest in any estate.The Act sets out the procedures for obtaining a certificate of title and the effects of a certificate of title. The Act also allows a person to request a court to investigate matters that may affect a title in land. A certificate of title obtained by fraud shall be null and void. The Rules Committee of the Supreme Court may make rules for specified purposes. The Act sets out, in the Schedule, forms for the petition to quiet a title and for the investigation of facts affecting a title.
