La presente Ley tiene como finalidad fortalecer y otorgar seguridad jurídica a los titulares de la propiedad, desarrollar y ejecutar una política nacional que permita la inversión nacional extranjera y el acceso a la propiedad por parte de todos los sectores de la sociedad.

This Act provides for the administration of small estates in case of an owner dying intestate or with a will leaving a small estate. "Small estates" means all property, real and personal of a deceased person which does not exceed a specified value. Persons specified in section 3 may apply to the Registrar to be appointed as administrator. Section 4 provides for nomination by a Judge in case of probate of will of a deceased person. Duties and powers in respect of procedures for the appointment of administrators are set out in section 6.

This Act makes provision for the administration of (intestate) estates by persons appointed as administrators under this Act or by (probate of) will and also concerns other related matters of inheritance. Real estate (including lease) of a person dying intestate shall devolve in the manner provided by section 4, and the residuary estate of that person shall be distributed in accordance with section 54.

La presente Ley del Estado de México reconoce y regula los derechos de los pueblos y comunidades indígenas y originarias, asentadas de manera continua en localidades y municipios de la entidad. Entre los derechos reconocidos se contemplan los relacionados con la tierra (arts. 46-49) y con el aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales (arts. 50-57).

This Act amends the Administration of Estates Act, 1965 so as to provide that amounts of money to be established for purposes of sections 18, 28, 30, 34 80, 90, 91, 93, 102 and 103 of the principal Act shall be prescribed by Regulation.

This Act: makes provision for the appointment of the Administrator-General for Jamaica by the Governor-General; defines functions and powers of the Administrator-General and provides with respect to the functioning of the Administrator-General and relevant judicial and administrative procedures, especially in respect of the administration of estates. The Administrator-General shall apply for letters of administration relative to the estates of all persons who shall die intestate and without heirs.

This Law, composed of 89 articles divided in 5 chapters, regulates the general principles on land rights. In particular, the Law rules on: property rights, rural community rights, natural resources’ use and protection measures, land expropriation, land concession, territorial planning, land classification, and registration procedures.

This Law provides rules relative to the administration of the estate of a deceased person. It, among other things: defines the jurisdiction of the Royal Court in relation to probates and administrations; makes provision with respect to the procedure of grant of probate and administration; and provides for the recovery and distribution of an estate.

This Law abolishes any rule of customary law affirming that a contract passed before the Royal Court for the transfer of immovable property may be annulled, at the instance of the heirs or devisees, as the case may be, of the transferor, if he or she dies within 40 days of the passing of the contract.

This Act makes provision with respect to matters of inheritance. It provides rules for the making and execution of wills and defines criteria for a will to be considered valid. A person may by will dispose of a contingent, executory or future interest in real property. Wills may be deposited with the Registrar of Probates and Administration.

This Act makes provision for matters of inheritance by will. It specifies the procedures and criteria for the making of a will and the effect of a valid will. A general devise of testator’s lands shall include leasehold as well as freehold lands.
