Permanent exploitation of agricultural machinery and equipment supposes excessive compression of soil cover by undercarriage, especially by wheels, which leads to crop yield decline, high energy consumption and decrease of productivity. The main goal of the research presented in the article appears determination of the dependencies between soil reluctance and compaction, reflecting peculiarities of the curve of depression of the deformation agent in soil. The research analyzes development of the core of compression during compression of stamping tool. It evaluates the soil reluctance during the deformation, analyzes the process of soil deformation, measures the influence of the deformation agent on soil, shows the dependence between soil reluctance and stamping tool’s compression, reflects the dependence between soil deformation and pressure. As a result of the analysis of soil deformation S-dependence between resistance and deformation is established. For the description of concave and convex areas of a curve the dependences are proposed. These dependences can be used to substantiate the permissible load on the wheels of agricultural machinery.
