This National Land Policy will guide the country towards efficient, sustainable and equitable use of land for prosperity and posterity. The Mission of the Policy aims at: promoting positive land reforms for the improvement of the livelihoods of Kenyans through the establishment of accountable and transparent laws, institutions and systems dealing with land (sec. 1.3).

This Act provides with respect to water resources management and water and sanitation in Kiambu County. It establishes two Water Service Providers and defines functions of the Department of Water and Sanitation Services.

This Act makes provision with respect to the recognition of tribes and certain matters regarding the administration of tribes, i.e.

Sections 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the principal Act are repealed by this Act. The repeal of sections 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the principal Act shall not affect: (a) any declaration, order, or rule made, certificate authority or permit granted, registration effected or other thing done; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred.

This Proclamation of the Benishangul Gumz Regional State shall apply to any rural land found in the region. It mainly is concerned with land rights land use and administration of rural lands. Land is declared the common property of the state and people and it shall not be subjected to sale or other means of exchange.

This Rural Land Use and Administration Policy of the Afar National Regional State seeks to provide an answer to the following problems: The traditional land administration and use system is not in line with the formal government land administration and use system.

El presente Decreto Supremo reglamenta el artículo 21 de la Ley que regula en forma complementaria y desarrolla el proceso de formalización de la propiedad informal, acceso al suelo y dotación de servicios básicos de agua, respecto a los procedimientos de expropiación con fines de formalización de la propiedad informal.

El presente Decreto Supremo aprueba el Reglamento de formalización de la propiedad informal de terrenos que realiza la Comisión de Formalización de la Propiedad Informal (COFOPRI).

La presente Resolución establece los requisitos y procedimientos para la elaboración y tramitación de los planes de ordenamiento territorial (POT) para el desarrollo urbano y rural, a nivel local y parcial.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria considera la reforma agraria como un proceso integral y un instrumento de transformación de la estructura agraria del país, destinado a sustituir los regímenes de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra, que contribuya al desarrollo social y económico de la Nación.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria tiene como finalidad la transformación de la estructura agraria del país y la facilitación de su desarrollo económico y social, mediante la sustitución del régimen de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra.
