The Final National Land Policy (NLP) of Sierra Leone provides the vision, principles and policy components to give direction to and definition of the roles and responsibilities of various government and customary authorities, and other non-state actors, in land management. Specifically, it enunciates policy statements in respect of the key components of the National Land Policy such as access to land and tenure, land use, regulation and the management of special land issues, land administration structures, land laws and the Constitution.

This Administrative Order, consisting of 5 sections, makes Local Government Units, particularly Provinces to adopt in planning activities the Guidelines for mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in Subnational Development and Land Use/Physical Planning. It establishes that the Local Government Units (LGUs), particularly provinces, are directed to adopt and use the DRR Guidelines to enhance natural disaster risk reduction efforts in the local development planning process.

The Great Green Wall for the Sahara and Sahel Initiative - National Strategic Action Plan is a national sectoral action plan of Nigeria. It applies to the period of 2012-2017. Its main goal is improving the well-being of the affected people and reducing their vulnerability to climate change through improved use of land and other natural resources for sustainable development and support to climate resilient infrastructure.The Action Plan, among others, treats the issue of food security. This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 17 articles and two Annexes, sets out the content and method of preparing the detailed plan to reduce flood risk, which includes the timetable for preparing the plan and its various content. The aim of preparing plan to reduce flood risks is to reduce harmful effects of floods on human health, environment, cultural heritage and economic activity in areas of significant impact of flooding and associated erosion.
