Regional Act No. 1 regulating the productive use of public lands.

This Regional Act defines the administrative functions that pertain to regional authorities as regards the productive use of public lands as well as the recognition of public uses. The aim is to promote the use of public lands for agro-forestry and silvopastoralism purposes. Article 5 specifies the circumstances under which the regional executive may authorize the transfer of lands for agro-forestry or silvopastoralism uses.

This Provincial Act sets out the legislative framework governing the management of public lands destined to public uses, particulary agro-forestry and silvopastoralism. The Act aims at the environmental protection and economic development of those lands. The Act further regulates the right of use of these public lands. Special provisions are laid down with respect to the Regole of Spinale and Manez, referred to in Provincial Act No. 12 of 1960.

These provisions concern the rearrangement and promote the setting up of the Regole, including those regulated under Regional Act No. 48 of 1975. This Act recognizes the Regole as mountain organizations aimed at the environmental protection and economic development of mountain territories.

This Regional Act makes provision on the preservation and restoration of non cultivated and abandoned lands falling within mountain territories in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Further it aims at the prevention of forest fires and dissemination of pests harmful to animal and human health.

Forestry, Wildlife, National Parks and Protected Areas Act (Chapter 12.03).

This Act makes provision for the management and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Montserrat. It establishes the Forestry, Wildlife, National Parks and Protected Areas Board and the Environmental Fund. The Board shall, among other things, advise the Minister and review and revise the national forest, wildlife and national parks plan.

This Act makes provision for the protection of the environment and vegetation and provides rules to environmental sanitation and physical planning and development. It shall promote the conservation of the natural environment and landscape beauty of Norfolk Island and to ensure, so far as is practicable, that physical works and other activities are in harmony with the natural environment. The Act establishes the Norfolk Island Planning Board. The Board shall consider applications for authorization of activities for which approval is required under this Act.

This Law provides for land use and development planning in Guernsey and control over development. Its purposes are to protect and enhance, and to facilitate the sustainable development of, the physical environment of Guernsey, to protect natural beauty to preserve and promote biological diversity. A Strategic Land Planning Group shall be appointed from various state offices and shall Strategic Land Planning Group be involved in the preparation or amendment of the Strategic Land Use Plan.
