This Law, composed of 18 articles, regulates the industrial zoning in the Metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro. It defines 3 areas for the establishment of industrial activities, namely Areas of Strictly Industrial Use (ZEI), Areas of Mainly Industrial Use (ZUPI) and Areas with Diversified Use (ZUD). The law establishes the competent bodies for the zoning and the classification of industrial activities. For the ZUD areas, it requires a Plan aimed at rationalise the land use for industrial purposes and to minimize environmental impacts.

An Act to amend the Western Lands Act 1901 with respect to the recognition of public and other roads, the assessment of annual rents and the constitution and functions of a Western Lands Advisory Council. Amendments to the Act are to be found in the schedules: Amendments with respect to public roads and rights of way; Amendments with respect to rent; Amendments with respect to Western Lands Advisory Council; Provisions with respect to constitution and procedure of Western Lands Advisory Council; Miscellaneous amendments; Amendments by way of statute law revision.

This Regulation implements the Western Lands Act 1901 by providing specifications on local land boards (Part 2), leases in Western Lands (Part 3), consents to cultivation and clearing licences (Part 4), fencing and road construction. The Regulation is completed by four schedules: Fees, Survey fees, Circumstances in which consent to cultivation is not required, and Exemptions for requirements to obtain clearing licence.

This Regulation implements the Coastal Protection Act 1979 by preventing any person (including a public authority) to carry out development on land within such part of the coastal zone as is not within a local government area, and as is not subject to an environmental planning instrument within the meaning of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

This Regulation implements the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 by providing specifications on the procedure for the revocation, appropriation and resumption of state recreational areas.

The President, for the purpose of ensuring turnover of the plots of land situated on the territory of urban and rural settlements and till the adoption of the respective federal law, decrees to establish that the plots of land situated on the territory of urban and rural settlements, destined in accordance with land use planning documentation for construction, or the right of lease of the aforementioned plots of land must be sold to natural and legal persons through tenders if otherwise is not envisaged by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

El presente Decreto reglamenta la Ley Nº 388 de 1997, estableciendo que los proyectos, obras o actividades considerados de utilidad pública e interés social podrán ser adelantados en todo el territorio nacional de manera directa o indirecta a través de cualquier modalidad contractual, previa la expedición de la respectiva licencia o del correspondiente instrumento administrativo de manejo y control ambiental por parte de la autoridad ambiental correspondiente.

This Decree, composed of 4 articles, declares of social interest, for the purposes of the Agriculture Reform, the following rural properties: Fazenda Curral do Rio Grande II, Fazenda Lameiro e Três Fogos, Fazenda Reunidas F S, Fazenda Lagoa da Onça, Fazenda Nova União, Fazenda Bucaina, Fazenda Dona Olívia, Dona Inês e Carajás I e II, Engenho Bonfim - Divisão Sul. The Decree establishes the competence of the National Institute for the Agriculture Reform (INCRA) to promote and supervise the expropriation of the aforementioned rural lands.
