Gender statistics play a key role in mainstreaming gender into policies of the state and serves as a tool to adequately assess and reflect the situation of women and men in economic, social and political spheres of the society. Gender statistics allows increasing public awareness about the status of women in relation to that of men and conducting systematic study of gender issues.
Constitution of Armenia 1995 (rev. 2015)
A Constitutional Commission drafted the constitution before it was approved by 68% of voters in a popular referendum.
Law No. ZR-179 “On geodesy and cartography”.
This Law regulates relations dealing with geodetic and cartographic activity. Geodetic and cartographic activity shall be classified as national and local. National activity shall include zoning, mapping and licensing of geodetic and cartographic activity.
Law No.ZR-160 amending Law No. ZR-295 on state registration of rights to property.
Article 41 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Electricity supply companies shall have limited servitude to the plots of land for servicing and maintenance of electric substations and safety areas.”
