Regulation on organization and functioning of Public Property Agency establishes the mission, spheres of competence, functions and rights of the Agency. The Agency is the central administrative body, subordinated to the Government, which ensures the implementation of the state policy in the areas pertaining to its competence. The mission of the Agency is to ensure the implementation of the state policy in the field of management and denationalization of public property, and public-private partnership, with the implementation on behalf of the government functions as the founder of state enterprises and the holder of shares (charter capital) in commercial companies with predominantly public capital, in the established order and within the limits of competence provided by the regulatory framework. The Agency shall implement the functions established by this Regulation in the following areas: (a) management of property that is public property of the state; (b) denationalization of public property of the state; (c) post-privatization activities; (d) public-private partnership; (e) accounting of public property; and (f) ensuring the observance of the rights and property interests of the state. In particular, the Agency shall manage public land.
