This Act constitutes the legislative framework in matter of environmental protection within the State of Sabah. Part II of the Act is devoted to the setting up of the Environment Protection Council whose functions shall be to advise the State Government on matters relevant to the implementation of these provisions. On the other side, Part IV of the Act provides for the establishment of the Environment Protection Fund. Further provisions as regards public servants and administration competent in the environmental field are laid down in Part V.

This Council of Ministers Resolution establishes the Urbanization Plan of the Industrial area of Pinhal da Rebela-Várzea in the Municipality of Felgueiras. The Resolution consists of 4 chapters regulating land settlement, soil use and transformation according with the environmental protection national policy.

This Council of Minister Resolution approves the Regional Management Plan of the Territory of Lisbon (PROTAML). It establishes all the sectors involved with the management of the mentioned urban area and specifies the baselines for the urban planning, as well as territorial, forestry and protected areas management, etc.

The Government, for the purpose of securing and transfer of the plots of urban land and the plots of land of other settlements on conditions of ownership, possession, lease of natural and legal persons, as well as for the purpose of their registration, taxation and transaction, decrees to validate the Regulation and to recommend the bodies of the local self-government to set up in case of necessity special commissions for the determination of the boundaries of land tenure. The Regulation is aimed at the solution of the following problems: 1).

This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 120/2000 on the Statutes of the Ministry of Environment and Territory Management. This Regional Legislative Decree approves the Touristic Plan of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This Plan consists of 3 chapters 2 annexes and 4 maps of the archipelago. In view of the increasing touristic demand this Decree establishes the bases for the territorial management with touristic purposes, describes maximum authorised infrastructures to be created in order to satisfy such demand until 2012.

This Resolution of Council of Ministers establishes the Coastal Zone Plan (POOC) of Alcobaça-Mafra. The Regulation is composed by 5 parts and 3 annexes specifying the requirements to be satisfied, such as: authorised activities, pollution control, urban land management and all the sectors involved with the coastal zone management.

This Regulation is dedicated to the management of areas designated as “reservoir development areas” as delimitated in the Appendix of the Regulation. Under section 3, a permit is required to construct or alter a structure within a reservoir development area; move a structure into or within a reservoir development area or employ a structure or land for any purpose within a reservoir development area. Sections 4 to 9 deal with the application, issuance, requirements and cancellation of such permits.
