This Order makes supplementary and consequential amendments to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, as a consequence of amendments made to the Act by the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006. Amendments concerns, among other things: local reviews under section 43A of the Act, applications to be determined under schemes of delegation or on review by virtue of section 43A of the Act; the right to require a review under section 43A.

This Order amends the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 to specifies classes of development to which permitted development rights apply in relation with fish farming in marine waters. It includes an additional condition relating to the removal of obstructions or dangers to navigation and alters the limitation in a specified Class so that development is not permitted by that Class if the surface area of the waters covered by equipment of the fish farm is, or would be, greater than 15,000 square metres.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of elaboration, composition and the modalities of realization of regional land-use planning with the consideration of sustainable development of territory, distribution of protected areas and mapping of the boundaries of agricultural land. Decision of elaboration of regional land-use planning scheme shall be made by the regional administration.
