The webinar, Women’s Land Rights Assessments in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Liberia, and Ghana, organized by Landesa, will take place on Thursday, Sept. 30th, 2021, from 3 pm-4:30 East African Time, 8 am – 9:30 ET.
The webinar will present the findings of research conducted by the Women Land Rights Practitioner Network formed by Landesa’s visiting professionals from Africa. The network, in Africa, has members from five countries — namely, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Liberia and Ghana. This year, network members conducted case study research on specific predominant women’s land rights issue in their respectivecountry. Landesa supported the network members with a small fund to undertake the research and is facilitating the webinar so that they can present their findings.
