The objectives of this NAP is to structure and guide the implementation of the UNCCD and define the elements of strengthening environmental capacities, enhance public awareness and mobilize active participation in order to better manage the natural resources, combat DLDD.The objective also contains elements of strengthening the policy, legal and institutional foundations for environmental management.In order to structure overall programme of the NAP, the five programme areas that were formulated in 1998 and reviewed and adopted as part of NAP in 2005 have been subjected to a series of stake

This Proclamation aims at improving management and utilization of land and land resources for agricultural purposes in the Southern Nations, Nationalities And Peoples' Regional State. It applies to all land that lies outside of municipal borders. The Proclamation defines the right to acquire, free of charge, rural land by peasants, pastoralists and semi-pastoralists engaged in agriculture and the equal rights of women with respect to land and provides for the protection of such rights.

This Regulation implements provisions of the Proclamation of The Southern Nations, Nationalities And Peoples Regional State on rural land rights and use. It applies to all types of rural land and lands used for agricultural purposes in urban territory.

The Premier decrees that beginning from 1 January 2016 allotment of land plots for farming and expropriation thereof shall be performed by decision of local government in accordance with the opinions expressed by territorial councils of farmers and commissions for examination of applications for allotment of land plots for farming.

The scope of this Act is to protect and develop cultivation of arable lands with specific regard to requirements of environment protection and to safeguard and enhance profitable farming.Agricultural properties shall be subject to conditions of farming as specified in the present Act (sect. 2). Agricultural properties shall be real property registered as such in the register ("matrikle"). The Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may undertake the classification of agricultural land for purposes of registration and use (sect. 3a).

The Order sets regulations on manure use with the purpose of establishing standard animal keeping compounds and storage of such biomass. In Chapter 2 it sets regulations on the establishment of facilities, as well as extensions and modifications thereof for animal husbandry; these shall not be authorized if causing pollution. Stables and similar enclosures for animals shall be designed so that contamination of groundwater and surface water does not occur. They must have floors constructed of durable materials which are impermeable to moisture.

This Regional Law lists categories of citizens that shall have the right of allotment of plots of public or municipal land free of charge within the boundaries of urban areas. The aforesaid plots of land can be allotted to peasant farms for agricultural purposes and farming. Horticulture and gardening. Maximum land area that can be allotted to peasant farm shall be 40 ha, minimum land area shall be 1 ha.

This Act sets regulations on lending grants to small farmers for purchasing machinery and other tools-

This Act establishes the Agricultural and Rural Development Authority under section 3 as a body corporate. The operations of the Authority shall, subject to this Act, be controlled by a Board constituted under section 5. For the better exercise of its functions and powers the Board may establish one or more committees (sect. 12).

These Regulations provide for the payment of aid to farmers who undertake to introduce organic farming methods and comply with certain environmental management conditions, pursuant to Article 2(1)(a) and (d) of Council Regulation (EC) No. 2078/92 and implement Commission Regulation (EC) No. 746/96 laying down detailed rules for the application of the Agri-environment Regulation. The Regulations, inter alia: (a) enable the Department of Agriculture to make payments of aid, subject to specified conditions; (b)) specify the conditions of eligibility to be satisfied by applicants for aid (reg.

Article 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Regional Legislative Assembly shall be responsible for establishment of maximum and minimum land areas out of stock of public or municipal land that can be allotted to citizens for farming”.

Amends: Regional Law No. 68-ZKO “On delimitation of plenary powers between state regional bodies in the sphere of land relations”. (2009-04-13)

This Regional Law establishes that maximum land area of agricultural land out of stock of public and municipal land allotted for farming shall be 400 ha, and minimum land area shall be 0,3 ha.
