This Regional Act lays down provisions with a view to guaranteeing the rational and full use of all lands, in compliance with the related legislative framework provided for in Act No. 440 of 4 August 1978. Within 12 months from the entry into force of this Act, the Region shall designate those areas falling within its own territory where abandoned lands exist. Therefore, the regional authority shall perform a census and classify abandoned and uncultivated lands. Such information must be annually updated.

This Act, consisting of 7 Parts divided into 48 sections, makes provision with respect to the use of agricultural chemicals as defined by the AGVET Code which applies in force of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Queensland) Act 1994. Part 2 contains provisions dealing with matters of administration such as inspection and control and the continuing in existence of the Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control Board. Part 3 regulates distribution of pesticides from the air, whereas Part 4 concerns distribution from the ground.

This Decree regulates Land Act No. 19/97 establishing right of use and conditions for exploiting public lands. It consists of 7 Chapters and 1 technical annex specifying different land uses, listing obligations and rights of foreign or national entities, fees to be paid in order to obtain a licence for land exploitation, etc. It concerns requirements to be met for obtaining the aforementioned licence and regulates plans for land exploitation to be sent for approval to the competent authority. Technical Annex specifies requirements to be satisfied and limits (servitudes) of land areas.

This Act contains rules relating to revision of registers of lands. In accordance with section 3, the Ruler in Council is entitled to declare any area falling within the State of Kelantan to be a Settlement Area. Such declaration shall be notified in the Gazette. Persons interested may appear to submit their claims: section 4 regulates in particular recording of claims; section 16 concerns appeals to the District Officer and, as the case may be, to the High Court.
