La presente Ley se funda en una concepción integral del problema ecológico y en la decisión política de hacerle frente, sumando los esfuerzos del Estado y la sociedad.

This Act aims to implement obligations that Australia has under the Climate Change Convention and the Kyoto Protocol, create incentives for people to carry on certain offsets projects and to increase carbon abatement in a manner that is consistent with the protection of Australia’s environment and that improves resilience to the effects of climate change.The Act sets up a scheme for the issue of Australian carbon credit units in relation to eligible offsets projects.

El presente ordenamiento tiene por objeto reglamentar la Ley General del Equilibrio Ecológico y la Protección al Ambiente en su Capítulo IV, Sección VII, en materia de Autorregulación y Auditorías Ambientales. Las Auditorías Ambientales y la Autorregulación, de carácter voluntario, tendrán como propósito la observancia de los principios de política ambiental.

This Regulation, consisting of 16 sections divided into four Parts and completed by four Schedules, implements the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995. It approves coastal zone map—Act, s 18C. For section 18C of the Act, the Coastal zone map for Queensland, certified by the chief executive on 3 October 2011, is approved as the coastal zone map. The exact location of the boundary of the coastal zone shown on the map is held in digital electronic form by the department.

This Regulation makes minor changes in “definitions” section in Article 4 of the Regulation. This Regulation amends Article 2 regarding the scope of the Regulation, Paragraph 3 of Article 5 regarding land tenure, Articles 6, 7 and 10 regarding competition for land tenure, Article 9 regarding document search of the Commission, and Articles 12, 13 and 14 regarding certification for electricity generation.
