This Act, consisting of 180 sections divided into 20 Parts and completed by one Schedule, provides for the registration of titles to land. It defines the powers of the Registrar-General after the registration of a units plan and the procedures on applications and registrations.
This Act provides for the consolidation of the Acts relating to the declaration of titles to land and the facilitation of its transfer.

The object of this Regulation is to remake, with minor changes, the provisions of the Real Property Regulation 2003 which is repealed on 1 September 2008 by section 10 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.
These Regulation list the classes of instruments prescribed under subsection (2) of section 273 of the Real Property Act 1886.
