Located in the western point of Turkey, forests and shrublands are important for the island of G�kceada.
This study was conducted during the period of April 2005 to April 2007 to determine the distribution of the shrub species in maquis in the district of Erdemli, near the Taurus Mountains.
This Regulation defines technical and administrative rules and principles for preventing and eradicating soil contamination. Limited values and measures for preventing soil contamination are specified in the Regulation.
Articles 6, 9, 14, 30 have either been amended or new paragraphs have been added. The present Law also amends new articles of the Village Law of 1924, the Law on Natural Disasters 1959, and the Tourism Incentives Act of 1982. The formation of the technical teams is re-defined.
The Regulation specifies limited values and measures for preventing soil pollution. The Ministry of Environment, together with other pertinent institutions and agencies, defines the areas and locations where soil pollution occurs and determines and implements corresponding measures.
