This Provincial Act is divided into five Titles.
This Act regulates interventions in matter of better exploitation of the soil, of the environment and of agri-sylvipastoral resources. For this purpose there shall be a rational selvicultural management, the improvement of biological balances and the prevention of hydrogeological disasters.

The Regional Counsel for Agriculture and Forestry shall be in charge of the drafting of a general plan concerning the interventions to be undertaken in the field of soil conservation, protection of the environmental balance in forests as well as nature preservation.
This Decree Law represents the basic legal framework in matter of forestry. Since it was enacted in 1923, it must be coordinated with the Constitution, which entrusts particular legislative and administrative competences to the Regions in matter of forestry as well (art. 117).
This Decree lays down provisions for implementing Provincial Act No. 21 of 21 October 1996 relative to the forestry sector. The Decree is divided into three Titles and contains two Annexes. Title I regulates the hydrogeological and forest bonds referred to in article 3 of Provincial Act No.
This Regional Act sets up the Regional Agency on Forestry and Irrigation, which shall be responsible for implementing a coordinated system aimed at soil protection and forest management. The Agency shall also coordinate interventions concerning irrigation activities.
This Regulation concerns the procedure for the issue of the concessions required to use lands falling within public forest areas.
