This Law defines the legal regime of refused agricultural lands (lands which are not accepted into use or ownership by farmers). Refused lands are considered as State agricultural lands. They are transferred to the administration of the General Directorate of Forests and Pastures.
The present Law supplements Law No. 7745 on the re-evaluation and re-distribution of the ex-agricultural cooperative property by introducing new provisions dealing with the social and cultural assets of the ex-agricultural cooperatives and the offices of the ex-people’s councils.
This Law refers to a strategy on tourism development which is to be proposed by the Ministry of Tourism and approved by the Council of Ministers.
