This Regulation sets forth technical and administrative procedures and principles to prevent soil contamination, locate the contaminated areas and sectors, and to monitor and clean the contaminated soil and sites in line with the sustainable development goals.
This Regulation defines administrative, legal and technical principles on the rehabilitation and rearrangement of degradated lands. The Regulation also specifies principles and procedures on the management of wastes in the degradated areas due to mining activities.
This Decree establishes a public corporation that shall be responsible for waste collection and processing in Aruba and the maintenance of all public land. The corporation shall be managed by a council and a director. It shall observe in its operations all existing environmental norms.
