The present Act lays down provisions relating to land consolidation. Article 1 establishes that to improve production, working conditions in agriculture and forestry, as well as to improve general land use planning and land development, owned land may be consolidated.
The purpose of the present Law is to provide for the enactment of the Federal Land Consolidated Act of 14 July 1953 (BGBl. I p. 591).
The present Law lays down provisions relating to the practice and redemption of pasture rights on someone else’s land and soil. The text – consisting of 65 articles – deals with the following aspects: competences, administrative proceedings and fees.
The present Regulation implements the Land Consolidation Act in its version of 16 March 1976. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to land use planning and rural land re-organization in the Free State of Saxony.
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the cultivation and management of alpine regions and the related existing rights of lease and preemption thereof. The kind and extension of the cultivation and management shall be carried out according to ecological principles.
The present Law applies to all expropriations carried out on the domain of the Canton. The expropriation right shall be enforced in the interest of the Canton, or part of it, or of local authorities.

The purpose of the present Law is to safeguard the public interest on the occasion of the transfer of land or parts thereof, taking into account the need to comply with the principles of a sustainable protection of the environment, nature and landscape.
