This Act consists of 44 sections divided into 3 Parts. It regulates livestock and agricultural operations. It includes regulations for spreading manure or compost for all livestock operations in Alberta.
This Regulation refers to the land measurements in certificates of title and provides for the conversion of measurements expressed in Canadian Units into the International System of Units (sect. 5).
Under this Regulation, a “name search” means a search of the register for the purpose of determining registered ownership interests, if any, in land of a person registered in the register (sect. 1).
These Regulation pertain to the ownership of agricultural and recreational land in Alberta.
The present Regulation is made under the Law of Property Act. Section 1 establishes that “existing encumbrance or mortgage” means an encumbrance or mortgage that is registered and that has or will continue to have priority over or equal priority with the mortgage to be given.
The present Regulation is made under the Special Areas Act. For the purpose of the present Regulation “public land” means land belonging to the Crown in right of Alberta and under the administration of the Minister.
The present Regulation enforces the Public Lands Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the authorization of activities carried out for recreational purposes, such as, hunting, fishing, camping, boating, hiking, bicycling, the use of motor vehicles, etc.
The present Order enacts the Surveys Act. In particular, the Order lays down provisions relating to cadastral mapping fees which must be paid at the time a plan of survey or descriptive plan is submitted for registration at the Land Titles Office.
