This Regulation provides for the form and structure of various territory planning instruments according to their type, classification, and level. It consists of the following Chapters: General Provisions (I); National Planning (II); Local Planning (III); Interlocal Planning (IV); Integrated Planning (V); Suggesting standards, indicators, and mandatory sector conditions (V/I); Use of Land, its Structures, Structural Units, and Subunits (V/II).

This Regulation amends section 2 of Regulation 480 of 2011 regarding the scope and rules of procedures.

Regulation No. 450 of 2012 amending Regulation No. 289 of 2006 on the organization and functioning of the Agency of Legalisation, Urbanisation, and Integration of Informal Zones/Construction (ALUIIZC), as amended.
The Regulation 450 of 2012 amends article 2 of Regulation 289 of 2006 by changing the administrative structure of the ALUIIZC.

Instruction No. 4 of 2014 implementing Regulation No. 199 of 2014 of Council of Ministers supplementing Regulation No. 488 of 2011 on land use planning.
According to the Instruction, the National Agency of Territory Planning should evaluate and report on the legality and compliance of all proposed territory development requests with the national or regional planning instruments. The reporting should take place within 30 days of the request submission.

Regulation No. 480 of 2011 on land use planning.
This Regulation aims at promoting sustainable territory development and land use planning, and shall serve as the sole instrument for examining permits and licensing requests. It lays down the model rules and the land development conditions and the steps to be followed by the planning authorities to guide developing processes.
