Measures for investigating, monitoring and evaluating the quality of cultivated lands.

The purpose of these Measures is to regulate the investigation, monitoring and evaluation of the quality of cultivated lands. The Text consists of 31 articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Investigation (II); Monitoring (III); Evaluation (IV); Supplementary Provisions (V).The survey of cultivated land quality includes survey of cultivated land quality, special investigation and emergency investigation. The arable land quality monitoring institutions at all levels shall use the survey data to evaluate the current situation and the trend of the specific indicators of cultivated land quality. Based on the results of the emergency investigation, the arable land quality monitoring institutions shall assess the degree of pollution or destruction of arable land, put forward suggestions for remediation measures.
