The Act is divided into six Parts as follows: Preamble (1); Ownership (2), divided into the following chapters: General rules (I), State ownership (II), Cooperative ownership (III), Private ownership (IV), Special rules concerning acquisition of land; Use of Land (3), divided into the following chapters: Joint use with a farmers' agricultural cooperative (VII), Indemnification in case of certain rights of use of public interest. Part 4 deals with the exchange of land (X), Land/estate reallocation (XI).

These provisions supplement article 51 of Law No. 8405 of 1998 with regard to the fees that must be paid in respect of certain projects to obtain construction permits.

This Law aims at ensuring the rational and sustainable use of land and natural resources.

The Order sets regulations concerning additional measures on ecotones in rural areas. It applies to regulations on reducing marginal buffer zone width, as long as it does not affect the control of Heracleum Mantegazzianum (giant Hogweed) growth. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall ensure approval of requests for reduction of ecotones, which must be submitted by 1 November 2012.

This Law, consisting of 4 Chapters, establishes the legal regime for the land regulation regarding the rural public lands and occupied territories within the area of the Legal Amazonas. It concerns the different uses of land within the above mentioned area, such as: concession, possession, free land use, etc. This Law is divided as follows: General Provisions (Chap. This Act amends the Planning and Development Act, 2000 so as to, among other things: insert a new provision in section 28 on Ministerial guidelines; insert a new provision in section 34 on assessment of applications for new development; provide for the making of the planning scheme following an appeal made under section 169; provide with respect to a determination by the Board whether the extent and character of the modification in a planning scheme would be likely to have a significant effect on the environment (within the meaning of Annex II of Directive 2001/42/EC) or on a European site;

Law 10169 of 2009 amends and supplements articles 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27 and 32 of the law No.9482 of 2006. The amendments mostly concern the payment procedures of the non-permitted constructions.

This Resolution approves the Regional Planning of Mármores area (PROZOM) within the Municipalities of Alandroal, Borba, Estremoz and Vila Viçosa. This Regulation consists of 4 chapters regulating marble exploitation, land and water management and use.
