El presente documento establece a nivel nacional el plan de desarrollo humano, que contempla líneas de acción y medidas para erradicar la pobreza, garantizar el respeto de los derechos de las personas a satisfacer sus necesidades básicas (alimento, vivienda, salud, educación y seguridad) y conseguir una vida digna para todos los nicaragüenses. El Plan es de carácter intersectorial y abarca el período comprendido entre el 2012 y el 2016.

This Law, consisting of 21 articles, creates the National Granting System of lands for agricultural, forestry or silvopastoril purpose, called «Bolsa de terras». This Law applies to rural lands according to their registration and subject to the legislation regulating the ownership transfer of goods. This Law does not apply to: rural lands considered mixed for tax purposes, of lands for non-permanent housing with an area less than 1 ha. Rural lands with authorised tourism activity by the competent authority.

This Law approves fiscal benefits to the use of agricultural, forestry and silvopastoril lands and to the promotion of the «Bolsa de terras». In particular, this Law establishes tax reductions aimed at stimulating the National Granting System of lands, amending the Fee Regulation for Land Registration, approved by Decree-Law No. 322-A/2001 of 14 December.

Esta Ley establece las normas relacionadas con el uso del fuego en el Estado de Yucatán, especialmente para realizar las quemas con fines agropecuarios, ganaderos y forestales el procedimiento tradicional de roza-tumba-quema. El objetivo de estas disposiciones es controlar los riesgos derivados de dicho procedimiento, fijando medidas para prevenir y combatir los incendios forestales y agropecuarios.La Ley consta de diez Capítulos.

This Regulation of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) implements provisions of the Community Rights Law of 2009 with Respect to Forest Lands ("Community Rights Law"), and determines the rules, guidelines and procedures for the establishment of forest communities and to access, manage, use and the benefits of forest resources within the Republic of Liberia, and participation by communities in the reforestation, rehabilitation and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Liberia.

Using the 2009 round of the Ethiopian Rural Household Survey, this paper examines the medium-term impact of the land registration on investment behavior by households, particularly the adoption of soil conservation techniques and tree planting. It investigates whether men’s and women’s knowledge of their property rights under the land registration (as measured by answers to a list of questions regarding the provisions of the registration, covering such areas as tenure security, land transfer rights, and rights related to gender equity and inheritance) has an impact on these investments.
